Thanks so much to all of you for your kind words.
I’m pleased that restorative justice is deeply embedded in the philosophy and programming here at the Center and will continue long after I’m gone. I’m especially glad to have Carl Stauffer as a colleague in this.
It has been an honor to be part of the highly motivated and constantly growing network of restorative justice practitioners throughout the world. I look forward to continued engagement with you.

I’m pleased to say that restorative justice is truly imbedded in the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding’s program and philosophy and will continue long after I’m gone. It has been such an honor to work with the inspired network of people involved in restorative justice throughout the world and I look forward to continued contact.

Dear Howard,
I am so glad to know about the institution. To me, you embodies core values of restorative justice. I still remember how your lectures and classes changed my perception about justice and crime and helped to re-discover myself. I felt the moment of “quantum change” in your class. I strong feel that your words touched my heart and soul because you spoke from your heart and brain. I am very grateful that CJP took this initiatives to continue the legacy of Howard Zehr. I am also very happy to see Carl here who also influenced me tremendously.

I am looking forward to hearing from you more and more with exciting initiatives.

Most of us in restorative justice have, at one time or another, been mentored and/or taught by Howard. His contributions to the fields of RJ and photography have been monumental, and he clearly makes the world “a better place.” I consider Howard to be one of the great gifts in my life, a feeling shared by many.
Congratulations Howard on your latest “transformation.”
