Proposals Invited for Mini-Grants up to $500

The at 91短视频 (91短视频) is offering mini-grants to an individual, a group or a department with an outstanding idea for integrating , mission or into campus life.

鈥淥ur goal is to stimulate creative ideas for integrating the central themes of the Orie Miller Center with 91短视频鈥檚 mission as it is lived out in our various departments and programs,鈥 said , director of the Center.

Rhodes said proposed projects should enhance the education, work and daily lives of 91短视频 faculty, staff and students. Proposals for long-term social change and campus community improvements are encouraged.

To submit projects

must include:

鈥ho you are (student, club, department, faculty member, staffer)

鈥roposal description (what and why)

鈥mplementation plan (how)

鈥he anticipated impact of your idea on the campus community

鈥equested sum for implementation with an itemized budget

Submissions will be reviewed by an interdisciplinary committee of undergraduate professors using the following criteria:

鈥pplicability to the fields of peace, justice, development, and mission

鈥easibility of implementation given time and financial restraints

鈥reativity of project idea

鈥uitability to social needs on campus

Orie O. Miller, a well-known Mennonite leader, modeled the integration of business, mission, development, education and peace in his generation. In addition, the Orie Miller Center promotes awareness and interest in these areas by organizing conferences, providing off-campus resource people and experiences, convening faculty and students to stimulate creativity and mutual understanding, and supporting students to attend related conferences for personal and professional development.
