What a profound gift at such a time as this — when the powers of the world, and especially in the United States, are in turmoil, and certain peoples among us are now the oppressed.
Thank you, Dorothy Jean, for walking into the world of Matthew’s gospel, just as you walk into the world of Palestine Israel, and taking us with you. You offer us a path of hope, shining in Jesus who moved into our neighborhood, and walked through the the worst that the powers could muster, and brought us with him to life.
