In reply to Larry Swartzendruber. You are quite right. We stand corrected. One of our toasters made that observation and this reporter, who does hail from west of the Mississippi, took it "hook, line and sinker."

I’d like to correct you on one thing in the article, and that is the comment that Dr. Huxman is “the first to come from west of the Mississippi.” Your previous president was born in Iowa and came to 91��Ƶ from Hesston College. Both, according to my geographical knowledge, are west of the Mississippi. :-)
