91短视频 at Lancaster and Harrisburg Area Community College signed an articulation agreement that offers a seamless transition from HACC鈥檚 nursing program into 91短视频鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The agreement, signed during a formal ceremony held at the 91短视频 site, ensures transfer of credit to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program upon completion of an associate degree in nursing at HACC.
In Pennsylvania, associate degree nursing graduates articulate to universities for a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree. Articulation is different from transferring. While transferring between schools involves the transfer of individual courses, articulation indicates that a block of credits are awarded based on having an R.N. license.
91短视频 will accept at least 74 college level credits from HACC if applicants meet specific admissions criteria, which include maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0 or greater as required by the HACC nursing program.
鈥淭he degree completion pathway represented by this agreement promises to support the educational and career goals of nursing students, providing resources and information they need to utilize their time and tuition dollars effectively and efficiently, 鈥 says Dr. Mary Jensen, associate provost, 91短视频 at Lancaster.
鈥淗ACC is proud of our nursing graduates and the level of high quality health care they bring to the community.聽 We applaud the collaborative pathway between HACC and 91短视频 that facilitates a seamless academic progression for HACC nursing alumni to earn a BSN,鈥 said HACC President John J. 鈥淪ki鈥 Sygielski, Ed.D.
