It originally resided in M.T. Brackbill’s amazing physics lab in the old Ad building, and was simply stored in the 1968 Suter Science Center. It became a fitting
symbol at the dramatic Monday night auction. It now resides in the historic display case
in the present library foyer. Stop by and view various photos and items from that memorable weekend. A bit of “history on a wall.” John Horst

I was amazed by some of the college students who would balance a tall stack of books on their head and walk down to the library…

I can still remember the excitement and student involvement from such a diverse student body, even those of us who were not Mennonite. I remember baking for bake sales, and loved feeling part of something bigger! The book carry was unforgettable… just how the students came together for this was amazing, filled with energy, led by the Spirits nudging. We love this university, the education and experiences we were fortunate to have, the people we met who walked with Jesus…Fond remembrances of Al Keim, Pastor Truman Brunk, Rebirth, Dean Miller, Myron Augsburger, and many professors we had who taught us so much about life and faith, along with sociology, biology and the like.
