Already matching his production from last season,  (Newport News, Va./Denbigh) has started off his sophomore season red hot earning him Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors. D3baseball.com has also named him to the national Team of the Week.
This past week the sophomore batted .444 (8-for-18) and accounted for 18 runs in 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ’s 5 games last week. Six of his hits went for extra bases, giving him a whopping 1.056 slugging percentage.
Lee hit a pair of home runs, and had 3 or more RBIs in 3 of the games. His highlight came in a 3-4 performance against Southern Virginia, where he homered and doubled, driving in four and scoring twice himself.
For the week, Lee had 11 RBIs and scored 7 times. He also walked 3 times and stole a base, and added a perfect fielding percentage on 11 chances in center field.
Lee currently sits tied for the conference lead in home runs with three on the season and sits second in RBIs with 15.
The award was based on games played from last week Monday through Sunday. This is the third straight season that at least one 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Royal was named to the Team of the Week, which honors one player at each position.  (Stuarts Draft, Va./Riverheads) earned a spot last spring, preceded by outfielders Kyle MathewsÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýGriffin Stanley in 2017.
The Royals (5-6-1) head to Averett on Wednesday before hosting Messiah in a newly scheduled game on Thursday. First pitch both days is slated for 2:30pm.
