Leonard Dow ’87 is Everence’s new vice president of community and church development. He assumed the role in late March. Dow was 91短视频’s Distinguished Service Award honoree in 2017.
The organization also recently promoted two other 91短视频 alumni.
Dow first joined Everence in 2017 as a Stewardship and Development Specialist, helping to create the organization鈥檚 urban market business plan 鈥 resulting in the establishment of a new Everence Financial office and team in . In his new role, Dow will lead the Everence efforts to serve emerging diverse communities and churches that historically have been underserved.

In making this transition, Dow will continue to lead the Everence team in Philadelphia 鈥 and will add responsibilities as a member of the , as well as President of Everence Community Investments, LLC. Launched in 2020, Everence Community Investments, LLC (also known as ECI) is intended to re-envision and revitalize the organization鈥檚 community economic development activities, and to serve individuals typically left out of the formal financial system.

Prior to joining Everence, Dow served as Pastor of in Philadelphia, and Board Chair of . He worked in the banking industry for 12 years 鈥 with Univest and United Bank of Philadelphia 鈥 before joining the ministry in 1999. He is a former member of the board of directors. He currently serves on the board of directors for , and . Dow is a graduate of 91短视频 (Harrisonburg, Virginia), and lives in Northwest Philadelphia with his wife, Rosalie, and three adult children.
