Gov. Ralph Northam signed an executive order Saturday creating the Commission on African American History Education. Among the 34 appointees to the commission is Basil Marin '10, an assistant principal with DeKalb County Schools in Georgia. He previously was in a similar role at Churchland High School in Virginia Beach.
