As if she isn't having enough excitement in her first and only year of competitive running, 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's  (Broadway, Va./Eastern Mennonite) earned ODAC Runner of the Week honors after only her second race.

Running her first-ever cross country race,  (Broadway, Va./Eastern Mennonite) paced 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's women to a near-perfect finish. At the Hyder-McMahill Invitational on Sept. 2, Michaela dominated and placed first on the 5k course in 20:16.7, more than 37 seconds ahead of the nearest runner, teammate  (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite).

Summer has brought a number of exciting changes to the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Athletic Department, including a handful of new faces and even some light construction to open up new office space.

91¶ÌÊÓÆµ has announced the resignation of Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Isaac Bryan, effective August 18. With cross country season starting later this month, recent standout Hannah Chappell-Dick has been hired as the interim cross country coach, starting August 9. Director of Athletics Dave King will serve as the director of cross country and track & field until a replacement is hired.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference named 14 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ student-athletes to the 2016-17 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in their respective sports.
