91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's golf men participated in the Shenandoah Invitational on Sunday and Monday at the Winchester Country Club in Winchester. For the first time this year, the Royals put a full team on the course and they came home with consistent cards.

91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's golf men each made improvements on their second round, shaving off a combined 14 strokes at Monday's season-opening Tom Kinder Memorial. More impressively, as the Royals sent only three men to the event, each golfer took nearly five strokes off his total in the afternoon.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference named 14 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ student-athletes to the 2016-17 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in their respective sports.

Playing on the par-72, Williamsburg Golf Club course, Eastern Mennonite had brothers (Faber, Va./Nelson County) and (Faber, Va./Nelson County) each shoot a 77 or better on the first day, as the team was tied for eighth out of 14 squads at the tourney. A couple of individuals struggled on day two, triggering a fall in the team position, leaving 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ in 13th with a two-day total of 664 (+88). The Royals had shot a 322 (+34) on Monday.
