Ten graduating seniors will be honored as <\/span>Cords of Distinction<\/span><\/a> recipients in a ceremony Saturday afternoon, May 5, at 91短视频 (91短视频). They will wear gold and blue cords during the graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 6.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty, staff and fellow students nominated the recipients, who were cited for their \u201csignificant and verifiable impact\u201d on the university and on student life; for their contributions to developing the institution\u2019s positive image; for substantial contributions to the Harrisonburg\/Rockingham County area and beyond; for their high academic and social standing; and their embodiment of 91短视频\u2019s shared values of Christian discipleship, community, service and peacebuilding.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cords are blue and gold. Blue represents strength of conviction that one person can help to create a better institution or community. Gold represents the love of spirit and yearning toward creating a better university environment or community.<\/span><\/p>\n
