week\u2019s Homecoming coloring contest.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approximately 50 entries were judged by Visual and Communication Arts professors <strong>Cyndi Gusler<\/strong>,<strong> Jerry Holsopple<\/strong> and <strong>Steven David Johnson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" turnout for the contest.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHerm is usually wearing his coat of blue and white, but clearly he should be considering a trip to the store to pick out some other colors, or maybe he\u2019s wearing them on the sly when we don\u2019t see him, because these artists have given him many fresh new looks,\u201d Bauman said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bauman said she planned to show all of the artwork to the <a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/2020\/the-unofficial-history-of-herm-emus-mascot\/\">new Herm when he appears for the Friday Opening Celebration<\/a>. \u201cI think he\u2019ll be inspired and so pleased to see how our young fans have portrayed him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is likely just the first year of what will become a popular tradition, she said. \u201cEspecially this year, when we could not host our Lil\u2019 Royals on campus for fun during the Fall Festival, Saturday afternoon of Homecoming and Family Weekend, the art contest was a great way to connect with kids.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two designs for coloring were created by <strong>Rachel Holderman<\/strong>, media specialist in 91短视频 Marketing and Communications, and are still available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/homecoming\/schedule\">Homecoming website<\/a> for downloading if you want to have some fun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
