\u201cRise Up Together<\/strong>\u201d is our rallying cry for the sixth annual Lov91¶ÌÊÓƵ Day. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 6, and start thinking about all the ways you love 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. Those are reasons to support this wonderful university, its faculty and staff, programs, and of course, our students who come here from 39 states and 40 countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether the picture that springs to mind in your head for Lov91¶ÌÊÓƵ Day is the good friends or even your life partner you met here, the finding of your vocation, your sense of community, a favorite spot on campus, or that favorite faculty or staff member, we invite you to join us for our 24-hour giving day extravaganza<\/strong>, in which alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends come together to support and celebrate the university we all love.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Facebook Live page<\/a> will be the main headquarters, hosted by Braydon Hoover \u201811<\/strong>, director of advancement and annual giving. We’ll be sharing unique videos of the student experience and some friendly contests for 91¶ÌÊÓƵ gear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event features more than $100,000 in challenge match funds, nearly as much as we raised in our first annual giving day. We\u2019ve come a long way since then, thanks to you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help us set a new record!<\/strong> Last year, for the fifth consecutive year, you helped us to set a new Lov91¶ÌÊÓƵ Day giving record of $280,654 from 1,017 gifts<\/strong>. We’d love to best that this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As 91¶ÌÊÓƵ and our students continue to be challenged by the global pandemic, our University Fund for Resilience, the Student Tuition Relief Fund<\/strong>, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fund <\/strong>are among the featured funds of the day. But we encourage you to give to any fund close to your heart.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With each $10 (or more!) gift, you can vote for your favorite academic program, athletic team, or student club, and the winner in each category will receive $1,000! In addition to supporting the mission of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ as a whole, it\u2019s a great way to pay homage to the campus experiences that means the most to you. Every gift of $10 or more is a vote cast for your favorite!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
