Elmer Malibiran holds a degree in sociology from the University of Santo Tomas – Manila, and a master of arts in conflict transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, in Harrisonburg, Va. In his master’s studies, Elmer focused on restorative juvenile justice and war-to-peace transitions. Since 2008, he has been involved in various research projects that focus on young people’s involvement in violent organizations, armed conflict, organized violence, post-conflict juvenile justice, and community development. Elmer is a fellow with the Asian Regional Exchange for New Alternatives.
