Director of Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

For the 20 years previous to coming to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, I worked with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in the U.S. and in Central America. From 1984-1998, I worked with MCC in El Salvador, Nicaragua and Guatemala, all countries experiencing the trauma of war, poverty and violence. In addition to serving as MCC Guatemala country director, I listened to the stories of widows and displaced persons, accompanied those suffering human rights abuses, and facilitated experiential learning tours to promote relationship building and social change.<\/p>\n
