John founded a number of initiatives in the Pittsburgh area, including\u00a0 Serving Ventures and Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PLUS. He has authored a number of books including international best-sellers. A City Transformation Champion from 1994 to 2012, John served and led Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, a 35-year-old city transformation agency dedicated to the renewal and flourishing of the culture of Pittsburgh.
