Diplomas

Diplomas are mailed approximately 3-6 weeks following the first degree date after successful completion of final courses. Graduates have the option of picking up their diplomas from the Registrar鈥檚 Office.  Diplomas are mailed to the permanent home mailing address listed on your account. The Registrar鈥檚 Office is not responsible for diplomas lost or damaged in the mail. If your diploma is returned to the Registrar鈥檚 Office, you will need to make arrangements to pick it up if you live locally or have it resent if you are out of the area.

Students with double majors receive only one degree, and therefore will receive just one diploma. 

  • Graduation Honors

    Academic Honors are awarded to baccalaureate students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.6 or above (A = 4.0) and with no grade below "C-" at 91短视频. To qualify for graduation honors, a student must have completed at least 48 [31 for RN to BS and LOM programs] graded semester hours at 91短视频.  The honor and corresponding grade point average are listed as follows:

    •  Summa Cum Laude 3.90 鈥 4.00 GPA
    •  Magna Cum Laude 3.80 鈥 3.89 GPA
    •  Cum Laude 3.60 鈥 3.79 GPA
  • Degree Dates

    As you anticipate completing your degree requirements keep in mind that each 91短视频 diploma is issued according to one of four official graduation dates recognized by 91短视频 each year. Please read carefully the timing by which your final degree requirements must be completed in order to qualify for graduation by each of these dates.

    • Commencement Sunday (usually the second Sunday in May). To qualify as a spring graduate, your degree requirements must be entirely completed by the Friday prior to Commencement. An 鈥淚ncomplete鈥 grade or other unfinished requirement will result in your graduation date being delayed until June or later.
    • June 鈥 If your requirements are completed after the Friday prior to Commencement but by mid-June you will be considered a June graduate. A final transcript showing your degree information will be available approximately two weeks later.
    • August 鈥 If your final requirements are completed after the June degree date but by the first Friday in August, you will be considered an August graduate. A final transcript will be available by approximately two weeks later.
    • December 鈥 If your summer courses continue past the first Friday in August, or if you enroll in fall classes to complete your degree, you will be considered a December graduate.
  • Mailed Diplomas
    For graduates who complete requirements or pay their final balance after commencement weekend diplomas will be mailed to the address on record.

  • Replacement Diplomas

    Alumni may purchase a replacement diploma by using our. All replacement diplomas will be printed with current university president and administrators鈥 signatures and will be sent using USPS First-Class mail approximately two weeks from when the order is placed.

  • Transcripts

    Alumni may obtain transcripts by visiting the.
