If your request for Herm to appear at your event is approved, you will need to provide the following:

• A parking space close to the event or transportation to/from the event
• A private place to dress and rest (Herm needs at least 15 minutes per hour to cool down and re-energize)
• A secure location for clothes and personal items
• Drinking water available at all times.
• A handler to be with Herm for the duration of the event. If you would like 91¶ÌÊÓƵ to provide you a handler, we can do so for an additional fee.

As an ambassador of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ spirit and values, Herm is excited to appear at events that
embody friendliness, competitive spirit, inclusivity, and respect. To ensure every
appearance reflects the integrity of the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ community, Herm WILL participate in
events that:

• Promote unity and community without aligning with any political campaigns, lobbying efforts, or causes that could be interpreted as favoring one side in an election or political issue.
• Herm’s attire may not be changed, added to, or embellished without prior
  approval.
• Create a safe and family-friendly atmosphere, free from alcohol, drugs, or any form of offensive behavior.
• Take place in appropriate, respectful venues—Herm appears at locations that reflect 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s values, and therefore WILL not attend events held in bars, casinos, or similar environments.
• For wedding receptions, Herm WILL make a cheerful appearance at the start of the celebration, before any alcoholic beverages are served.
• Maintain 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s standards for community engagement—any commercial or business-related appearances WILL require prior approval from 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Athletics.
• Provide safe conditions—Herm WILL attend outdoor events only when weather conditions are safe and appropriate for participation.

• If HERM is to travel outside the Harrisonburg Area (10 mile radius), it is $0.67 cents per mile. 

• Signed application/contract prior to event (91¶ÌÊÓƵ will provide the name/contact information for Herm and handler if applicable prior to the event).

• Payment up front at least one week prior to the event.

• 3% credit card fee in addition to the rates.

• If you cancel within 24 hours of the event, 50% of the rental cost will still be charged because we could not book another event.
