Rebecca Kauffman, writer-in-residence at 91短视频, presents a Writers Read event Thursday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m.
She will preview her next work, Chorus, a novel told in linked short stories. Kauffman notes that although it won鈥檛 be released until early 2022, it 鈥渋s more aligned with [her] current state of mind鈥� than her earlier novels. The event also includes conversation between the author and 91短视频 Writing Studies faculty member Chad Gusler, and Q & A.

Her novel The House on Fripp Island (Profile Books, 2020) earned The Times Best Crime Fiction of June 2020 and was an Amazon Editors Best Book of June 2020. It was also voted Best New Books of June 2020 by People magazine.
She is also the author of The Gunners, winner of the Premio Tribuk dei Librai award in Italy, and Another Place You鈥檝e Never Been, a finalist for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize.
