After helping his team to a pair of upset victories last weekend, Eastern Mennonite's (Chester, Va./Matoaca) has been named the Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Week.

In the third, it looked like Guilford's ballgame. But the fourth belonged to the Royals as they ended on an 18-2 tear to knock off the Quakers, 66-59.

For the second time in as many days, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's volleyball men have upset a top 10 team. Saturday it was No. 9 Vassar, as the Royals came from behind to knock off the Brewers in five sets.

91¶ÌÊÓƵ's basketball men did so many things well. They held a potent opponent to just 40% shooting. They committed only seven turnovers. They grabbed a season high 23 offensive rebounds and won the battle of the boards, 50-48.

When (Charles Town, W.V./Washington) nailed his fifth three pointer of the night with 1:19 left in overtime, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ fans had a good feeling their Runnin Royals had finally gotten over the hump. The junior then finished off the night with a pair of free throws with 3.5 seconds left, pushing Eastern Mennonite to a 101-95 win over Shenandoah University.

91¶ÌÊÓƵ's basketball women used a 25-point second period to take control in a 74-45 win at Shenandoah Wednesday night. The Royals held SU to a pair of single-digit frames, including in the second, to run away with the road win and move into a three-way tie for third place in the ODAC.
