A bad stretch in the third period out-did a good start for 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's basketball women, as they dropped a frustrating 84-74 decision at rival Bridgewater College Tuesday night.
Giving up the first 10 points of the second period was too much for 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's women to overcome in a 74-67 loss at Emory & Henry Saturday afternoon. The Royals had a five-game winning streak broken with the decision, falling to 9-5 overall and 4-2 in the ODAC.
The Runnin Royals ended the game on a 33-12 run, picking up a 74-68 road win at Hampden-Sydney Saturday afternoon. 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's basketball men (8-7/2-4 ODAC) got a much-needed victory in the rigorous Old Dominion Athletic Conference, snapping a two-game skid.
